Tao began to eat some of it, but his mind was else where, so he wasn't really paying much attention. He knew he'd end up getting into a fight sometime in his stay there...though from what he collected from Kankuro and Temari's conversation, their brother was someone to avoid at all costs. He realised he knew nothing about him, so he decided to ask. "Temari...what is it with your brother? Not the Kabuki guy, the one you were talking about."

Temari began to eat the food before her. She was enjoying it, but not really paying much attention to the real world. She was thinking about what had happened today. She wondered what drove her to go and talk to Tao in the first place. She usually wasn't that social. On that thought, she remembered how she had been treated in the past. To sum it up, not very pleasantly. She took another bite of her food.

She looked over at Tao as she exhaled. "You mean Gaara..." She said, looked down then back up. She decided to tell him. "Gaara... you see.. he isn't really what you would call normal. He was born mearly as an experiment, he has no purpose or point. He has the Shukaku inside of him. He.. will kill whoever gets in his way. He has never known love, only killing. I suggest that you don't get in his way." She said. Every time that she thought about Gaara's past, she felt sorry for him. There had been numerous assasination attempts on Gaara by their father, the Kazekage. Temari crossed her legs, as she tried to look over Tao's face for hints on how he was feeling.

Tao looked as if he was remembering something painful, something that if left unchecked would eat away at him from the inside. However hard he tried to mask it, his body language gave it away. Without even realising it, he had dropped his cup of tea, and was hunched over onto the table.

Temari could see the painful look on Tao's face. She slowly finished off her food, then said, "Do you want to get out of here? Im done, and we might get more time if Kankuro has to find us." She was thinking of just going anywhere, even just sitting outside somewhere would be good. Just to get his mind off of whatever he was thinking.
