Weapons: Neji utilises kunai and shuriken, weapons which can easily be implanted into an opponents vital points while still being useful in hand-to-hand combat, but does not use them in battle often as he prefers his own hands to weaponry.

(Neji has to have learned at least two of his village's elemental techniques. I mean... he is a genius.)

Clothing: Neji wears a forehead protector emblazoned with the Konoha emblem on the metal plate portion, it is relatively free of scratches though it does bear the expected signs of wear and tarnishing, but the dark brown straps of the headband tie at the base of his neck, beneath his hair. Under this band is a single layer of bandaging to hide the curse mark of the Hyuuga branch house, that also holds two straps to his head and allow them to dangle just to his shoulders.

His clothing is basic, consisting mainly of a thick pale yellow/off-white jacket and a pair of dark shorts. The collar of the jacket is rather high, rising up to cover a larger portion of his neck and just brushing his chin should he tilt his head forward. While thick around the collar and waistline, it isn’t long-sleeved and the two shorter sleeves stop just above the elbow. This increased exposure of the arms allows for free movement of the arms and thus a greater range of motion when executing the attacks of the Jyuken style. Along his right arm is a section of bandaging that extends all the way down to the knuckles of his right hand. There are also straps going across the torso of the jacket, extending over the zipper line which runs from the collar to the end waist, which is tucked into the shorts.

His dark shorts come only up to above his knees which lends itself well to the fluid, flowing style of Jyuken since he doesn’t have to worry about his legs being restricted during his movements. He likes to keep his jacket tucked in though. His right leg, is also bandaged up just like his right arm, a mark of training perhaps. He wears the regular nin sandals. His shuriken/kunai holster is strapped around his right leg, and his weapons pouch is located on the left of his waist, just below his lower back.

Physical Appearance:

Neji's hair, is brown in color. He likes to keep it held back by his combination of forehead protector and bandage. Its grows long, long enough for him to use a ribbon of some sort, to tie it up near the ends of his hair, keeping it up from scattering when in battle. His hair reaches up to his lowerback, which is long for a boy like himself. His eyes, are of course, opal in shape and is a color of lavender or pale white.

When his Byakugan is activated, veins becomes visible around the sides of his eyes, pumping it with the necessary chakra to use his bloodline limit. As it is activated, his eyes become sharper, colder, which sometimes when stared at, can give you that feeling of "penetration". His skin is pale, though not as much like his cousin's, Hinata. Not too muscular, but not too thin either, but has a well toned body, due to years of intense physical training.

His build is light and made for speed, though that does not keep him from possessing some muscle tone though it is nothing compare to that of Rock Lee. Neji is roughly 5"5 and 120lbs. He is lean, though not emaciated, but this is hardly noticed through the bulk of his jacket. All-in-all, Neji is built to optimize speed; flexibility; and soft-power, the essentials of the Jyuken fighting style

Personality:
Neji is quiet, calm, and morose in most instances but this is only because his arrogance keeps him from divulging his thoughts and opinions to "those who couldn't hope to understand". Not that he lacks emotion or passion, he is just loathe to show them as he view this as a weakness.

Neji believes that there is a time and place for everything, and is not hesitant to engage in battle to test his abilities, but is also not afraid to unleash his anger when he deems it necessary. Calm on the outside yet powerfully emotional within, Neji is a dormant volcano ready to erupt.

The young Hyuuga is confident and cold, just hard to get along with. His usual smirks make his head look big, but do not be fooled. Once you get to this Hyuuga's temper, there is no mercy in battle or anywhere else, due to his cold nature. He may mock his opponents at times, like what he does to his "rival"/teamate, Rock Lee. He is not afraid to stoop so low as playing psychological warfare with his opponents and picking on their mental weaknesses and insecurities if they have angered him enough, but that aside, Neji's temper is hard to goad since he typically ignores those who annoy him--which typically includes everyone who isn't on "his level".

Companions:

Tenten- She is a fair-skinned, dark haired young girl whose training with weapons have made her a standout among the kunoichi of her class. Her attitude is one of a girl on a mission: to prove that females make ninja equal to if not better than males. Tenten normally trains with Neji which pits her high-speed precision against his high-speed defenses and as such has developed a mild attraction toward him, though at this point, Neji isn't aware of it. She is often annoyed by the overthetop antics of her Sensei and teammate Rock Lee, but has a wealth of compassion and respect for their skill. Compassion, determination, and a sharp mind are TenTen's major personality traits. Though she can be a no-nonsense type, as illustrated by her less-than graceful way of showing Rock Lee how his annoying actions affect others.

Rock Lee - Rock Lee is a tall, skinny young man with dark, shiny hair cut into a bowl exactly like his sensei Maito Guy. His work ethic is unparalleled as he seeks to show the world that he can be a powerful ninja despite his inability to perform ninjutsu and genjutsu. The lack of ninjutsu and genjutsu have alloed Rock Lee to become exceedingly powerful with Taijutsu which he tests against Neji's defenses. Neji is annoyed by Rock Lee's determination to beat him, but would have it no other way as he sees Rock Lee as a dependable constant and with his near textbook knowledge about most clans in Konoha and strategic mind, he is a valuable asset to his team. His connect tion his sensei is unshakable and his determination to become stronger and work hard are unparalleled.

Maito Guy - The Jounin sensei of Neji, TenTen, and Rock Lee, Maito Guy is powerful Taijutsu expert. He is often overdramatic, taking odd poses; smiling broadly at inopportune times; and using language that most would deem as "weird" (The real life equivalent is 70's lingo). Despite his mannerisms, however, he is a powerful shinobi and is capable of besting even Kakashi, his "eternal rival", in battle. There is nothing which he doesn't think hardwork cannot conquer and he seeks to instill a strong work ethic in his students, especially Rock Lee.

History:Despite his mastery of Jyuuken and Byakugan, Neji can never be the leader of his clan because he is a member of the branch house, his father, Hyuuga Hizashi, having been born into the world after his uncle, Hyuuga Hiashi, even though they were twins. In his childhood, Neji had nothing against the main family as he was probably being too young to fully understand the implications of being a branch family member, but as he grew up seeing his father feeling nothing but hatred for his own brother and the main family, he gradually came to resent it himself.

Neji, even amongst the general strife and family drama, excelled in the academy and quickly ascended to the ranks of genius-level ability. Mastering not only the basics of ninjitsu and taijutsu taught at the academy, but those techniques handed down to him by his family's teachings. Due to the restrictions on what he could learn of the Jyuken style, Neji trained himself and soon found that he surpassed even the main family in skill and prowess.

From that point on, Neji relied only on what he could perform with his own hands and, at times, eyes instead of relying on the "archaic and dated" form of familial hierarchy. Though he lacks interest, and possibly ability, in Genjutsu, Neji easily graduated at the top of his class from the academy, emerging as the number one rookie and the shinobi to beat even at genin level.

His resentment only deepened as he witnessed his father enraged first hand while watching Hyuuga Hinata, Hiashi's elder daughter and then the destined Hyuuga main family heir, train with her father; for he knew that his own son, Neji, will never be the heir of his clan. Detecting Hizashi's vibes of animosity, Hiashi activated the Juin (Cursed seal), putting his brother in immense pain as his nerves were being attacked. It was Neji's first encounter with the Hyuuga Curse Seal.

It was not until the incident with Kumogakure (Hidden Cloud)'s and Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf)'s peace treaty, however, that Neji truly became who he is now. The two villages, which were at war with one another, apparently decided to sign a treaty, and for this representatives from Kumogakure arrived. On the same day, the very same curse seal that tortured his father was put upon Neji himself; and that night, the ambassador from the Lightning country attempted to kidnap Hinata, revealing that the intention of the "treaty" was all along to get into the Fire country and acquire the secret of Byakugan.

Hiashi detected the intruder and killed him at once, for which Kumogakure, absurdly, requested payback in the form of Hiashi's head. That day, Neji's father was sent to his death instead of Hiashi, and Neji grew up believing that his father was sent against his will to protect the Hyuuga clan's secret bloodline.

This chain of events drove him to the point of believing that destiny, a person's future is decided from birth and that there was no way to escape or change it, making him a particularly bitter, cynical and arrogant character with a spiteful grudge against the main house.

[Sorry if it's a bit basic. Neji's background is just made up of those events and there's not really anything else which needs to be mentioned. WIKIPEDIA PWNS!]

RP Sample: Neji sighed as he put his hands on his sides and leaned backward, dark strands brushing just slightly against the ground, to get the tension of the morning from his muscles. He'd come here to practice his skills some, but wasn't expecting a challenge as there were few at his own rank who could challenge his skill the way he desired and since the higher rank shinobi were occupied with missions, his perspectives for the day were less than promising. But he would try and hopefully at least work up some kind of sweat.

Grunting, he spread his legs and went downward, sliding his feet along the ground so that his heels were perpendicular to the semi-grassy training area, until he was in a split. From there he put his hands out in front of him and pushed upward until his legs were held together and his body straight as he twirled a few times on his hands until he gave another grunt and pushed upward into the air. Though he didn't go too far, he was able to gain enough height to execute a small flip and land, feet together, back upon the ground with yet another sigh.

His warm up complete, he narrowed his seemingly-white eyes and awaited some semblance of an opponent, abject boredom along his peaches-n-cream skin tone and youthful features.

Alright Brandie Boo, let's get this profile rollin'.

First of all, great job a typo or two here and there, but everything is perfect, 1 thing though, the Katon techniques, I am a bit shaky on those, since they do not appear in either the manga or anime, but I think that you can have those, since I know for a fact that you will not god mod.

A little more on the history would have been nice, what where his academy years like? A sentence or two about that would be nice, what about his Tenten? how does he see her? and Gai? he should also be mentioned atleast once.

OVERALL: Excellent profile just gimme a bit more on history, and mention these characters in some form, since they are his companions, and your in. NOT ACCEPTED
